From Personal Trainer to Real Coaching: Why I’m Building This Now
I’ll be honest — this didn’t start as a perfect plan.
It started with a feeling that something wasn’t right.
The Shift That Changed Everything
For years, I worked as a Personal trainer London, helping people lose weight, get fitter, and feel better about themselves. On the surface, everything looked like success.
People were training hard.
They were following plans.
They were seeing results.
But over time, I started noticing a pattern I couldn’t ignore.
Many people would lose weight…
And then slowly gain it back.
Not because they were lazy.
Not because they didn’t care.
But because the system they followed wasn’t built for real life.
That’s when my perspective on weight loss and fitness started to change.
Why I Didn’t Start This Earlier
At the same time, I had another priority.
I was building Eat’s Healthy in London — a business focused on helping people enjoy healthier food, especially through nuts, fruits, and healthy cakes.
That business needed my full attention.
And I gave it everything.
Now, it’s stable.
And that gave me the space to step back and think deeper about fitness — not just as workouts, but as a long-term system people can actually live with.
The Questions That Kept Coming Back
During this period, I started asking myself better questions:
-
Why do people regain weight after programs?
-
Why is consistency so hard, even for motivated people?
-
Do we really need to go to the gym every single day?
-
Why does the brain adapt so quickly to strict diets and intense routines… and then reject them?
These questions didn’t leave me.
They pushed me to study more, observe more, and rethink everything I thought I knew as a trainer.
The Beginning of Something Different
I put a lot of these thoughts into my book, Beyond Weight.
But after publishing it, I realised something important:
I missed things.
There was more to say.
More to explain.
More to simplify.
That’s why a second edition will probably come soon.
And more importantly — that’s why I decided to build something bigger than just a book.
An Online losing weight program that focuses not on short-term transformation… but on learning how to live fit.
A Different Approach to Fitness and Coaching
This is not about:
-
Extreme diets
-
Daily gym pressure
-
Or chasing the “perfect” routine
It’s about something much simpler — and honestly, sometimes uncomfortable:
Small changes.
The kind that feel almost too simple to matter.
The kind people ignore because they don’t look impressive.
But those are the changes that last.
The goal is not to rely on a personal trainer forever.
The goal is to understand your body well enough that you don’t need one.
The Hard Truth About the Industry
Most programs are built for short-term results.
3 months.
Before and after.
Quick transformation.
But real life doesn’t work like that.
You have work.
Stress.
Family.
Travel.
Bad days.
If your fitness system can’t survive those — it’s not a system.
It’s a phase.
Building an Ecosystem That Actually Helps
This is where everything connects.
Eat’s Healthy helps people enjoy better food.
This program will help people build better habits.
Together, they create something bigger:
An ecosystem that helps people become fit — and stay fit.
Not for 3 months.
But for life.
Why It’s Starting Now
Because now I have:
-
The experience from years of PT
-
The lessons from running businesses
-
The mistakes that showed me what doesn’t work
And most importantly — the clarity to build something better.
Start Small — But Start
You don’t need to change your entire life overnight.
You don’t need a perfect plan.
You just need to start.
That’s why I created a simple starting point:
Not to transform your body in 7 days.
But to prove something more important:
That you can start… and not give up.
Because in the end, fitness is not about intensity.
It’s about consistency.
And consistency starts with one small step.
