Someone said that in this life, there are two things that, whether we want it or not, we need to learn about, and those two things are health and money. The other interesting thing is that without health, you can’t do anything, especially make money.

I created this book for people who want to lose at least 10 kg, but not in the “normal” way that is promoted these days with packages of 3 months of “personal trainer” and “personalized diets”.

After working with over 100 people in different stages of life, like young people in their 20s, people in their 40s with families, busy lives, and important positions in management, I realized that our perception about losing weight needs a little bit of adjustment.

It is not about looking good, it is not about fitting into a dress or suit, it is not about an upcoming party, it is not about what people are saying about us.

It is about bringing common sense back into our lives. Exercising daily is part of our human nature; it’s an example of common sense. Eating clean food every day is another example of common sense. Searching and discovering ourselves, our limits, and trying to conquer our fears is yet another example of common sense.

These days, the packages for losing weight are like some pills that you need to take when you need to lose a lot of weight for different reasons, and we are losing our focus on the things that really matter, like having years of not taking any pills or drugs, years of not being ill, not getting tired while playing with our kids, and a high level of capability in controlling our emotions so they work for us and not against us. All of these contribute to a better life for us and for the people around us when we reach our 80s.
